This piece is about love and learning! I absolutely love bugs, and until a few years ago, I had never heard of this beetle! Many people thing this beetle is a type of ladybug, but it is in fact not! Instead of being a predator (like a ladybug), it is a leaf eating beetle native to my area (the northeast US)! I really love this beetles shape and character, and so I just had to draw them!
